Universal Furniture Debuts Fenwick Collection

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Universal Furniture is introducing the Fenwick Collection at Spring High Point Market at its showroom at 101 S. Hamilton Street. An updated take on European Neoclassical design, Fenwick blends classic influences with a more relaxed, livable aesthetic.

Fenwick is crafted from flat-cut birch veneers in a deep, rich brown finish with a hint of sheen. Accents of embossed raffia provide texture against the low-sheen wood finish, while hardware and table legs in a dusty bronze finish and dark Emperador marble serve as collection hallmarks. Select pieces, including a credenza, bachelor’s chest, console, and side table, are wrapped in the woven raffia surface.

“Our new Fenwick Collection is more on the casual side of traditional in terms of style and feel,” said Sean O’Connor, President of Universal Furniture. “The European influence is very distinct, but Fenwick shows restraint rather than ornamentation.”

Upholstery options include pearly velvet fabrics and a caramel Luminance Caribou leather. With more than 80 SKUs, Fenwick spans formal and casual dining, living room, media room, bedroom, and occasional categories. Collection highlights include:

• Fenwick Console – Raffia finish with an angled, tapered spade foot.
• Fenwick Dusty Bronze Bench – Pill-shaped in Desert Gold finish with tapered legs and a channel-quilted cream velvet seat.
• Fenwick Embossed Chest – Three-drawer chest with a dark brown textured raffia finish and sinuous shape.
• Fenwick Leather Upholstered Bed – Vertically channeled leather headboard trimmed in wood, with a leather-wrapped sideboard on tapered legs.
• Fenwick Poster Bed – Wood-blocked, upholstered headboard with angled posters; optional square tester available.
• Fenwick Side Table – Ogee-shaped sides with embossed raffia finish and Dusty Bronze base.
• Fenwick Pedestal Table – 44-inch round table with Empire-influenced feet at the pedestal base.
• Fenwick Hall Chest – Two-door chest on tapered legs with tone-on-tone lattice work door facades.
