NANLUX Matrix 2500B & Matrix 2500C
NANLUX has announced its new Matrix 2500B and Matrix 2500C, which are integrated four-head fixtures designed for multi-unit lighting arrays.
The Matrix 2500B and Matrix 2500C both feature a 2500W output and an IP66 weatherproof rating. They were designed to deliver high illuminance and optimized light quality for accurately replicating sunlight.
They feature an all-in-one design, and users have the ability to synchronize multiple fixtures. According to NANLUX, the tighter spacing when utilizing multiple Matrix fixtures in an array improves light spread continuity and increases the light density. The fixtures feature a front-to-rear airflow cooling system that is claimed to ensure prolonged operation.

Size, Weight & Build
Both fixtures have physical dimensions of 40 x 40 x 23.5 cm / 15.75 x 15.75 x 9.25″. The Matrix 2500B weighs 16.5kg / 36.38 lbs. The Matrix 2500C weighs 18kg / 39.68 lbs.
The lights are built with a one-piece magnesium alloy housing and are rated IP66. According to NANLUX, the fixtures combine strength with a lightweight design.
Output
The Matrix 2500B has a claimed output of 103,000 lux @3m / 9.9′, when used at 5600K with FL-MT25 Motorized Fresnel Lens at 16°.
The Matrix 2500C has a claimed output of 67,900 lux @3m / 9.9′, when used at 5600K with FL-MT25 Motorized Fresnel Lens at 16°.
This high output makes them a good solution for bounce lighting, accent lighting, and even background illumination. When configured in an array, they are said to produce an even beam with high output.
Cooling
The fixtures use a front-to-rear airflow system designed to address heat accumulation issues commonly found in other high-density array setups. This is claimed to ensure stable performance under continuous high-load operation by effectively reducing heat build-up due to stacking.
The cooling system offers four fan modes, which users can switch between depending on the required output and noise control requirements. In Smart mode, fan speed automatically adapts to ambient temperature, reducing interference with audio recording.
Nebula Light Engine
The Matrix 2500B features the NANLUX Nebula B4 Light Engine, and it has a CCT range of 2700K–6500K with ±80 green/magenta shift control.
Conversely, the Matrix 2500C is a full-color fixture equipped with NANLUX’s Nebula C8 Color Light Engine. It has a very wide CCT range of 1,000K–20,000K with ±200 green/magenta adjustment across the full range. According to NANLUX, the eight-color light engine enables better skin tone reproduction, a broader color gamut, and enhanced color saturation through its advanced color-mixing algorithm.
The Matrix 2500C has CCT, HSI, HSIW, RGBW, XY Coordinates, Gel, and Effect modes, while the Matrix 2500B has CCT and Effect modes.
NANLUX states that both fixtures provide excellent color rendering with an average CRI and TLCI of 98. The lights offer 0.1% dimming control and precise transitions from 0.0% to full output.
Multi-Light Arrays
As the fixtures feature an all-in-one design with an integrated control unit and power adapter, only a power cable is needed to make the fixture ready to use. With the optional NANLUX four-light frame, users can put four Matrix fixtures together to create a 10,000W lighting array.
The included 4-way power distribution cable powers all four fixtures within the array simultaneously, while the EXT port cable enables synchronized control via a single control signal.
When configured as an array, the spacing between lamps in adjoining fixtures closely matches the internal spacing of the lamps within each fixture, creating a compact layout and producing an even beam. Multiple arrays can be mounted on truss systems and combined into a larger modular lighting matrix.
Wired & Wireless Controls
The control interface of the Matrix 2500B and Matrix 2500C features a panel with three knobs and four buttons. Both fixtures also support a remote controller, wired controller, NANLINK App 2.0, DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX, and Art- Net/sACN control.
The NFC function enables batch configuration of DMX parameters across multiple fixtures. With a DMX control system, each lamp head can be individually controlled for precise adjustment across different areas of large lighting arrays. In virtual production, the lighting responds in real time to on-screen changes.
Accessories
The Matrix 2500B and Matrix 2500C feature a new accessory interface that supports the quick attachment of modifiers. The electronic contacts on the mount can recognize attached accessories, enabling the operation of dedicated motorized modifiers and automatic color- shift correction.
The included FL-MT25 Motorized Fresnel Lens solves manual adjustment issues when lighting arrays are rigged at height. It offers a 16°–48° zoom range, with beam angles remotely adjusted simultaneously across all four lenses. The Fresnel lens is also IP66-rated for use in challenging environments.
The optional Dual-Head Yoke and Four-Light Frame enable easy two- and four-fixture configurations. There is also an octagonal softbox.

The Matrix 2500B standard kit costs $6,580 USD, and the flight case kit costs $6,880 USD.
The Matrix 2500C standard kit costs $7,280 USD, and the flight case kit costs $7,580 USD.
Both fixtures are scheduled to ship in Q3.
