IKEA to Open Second Wisconsin Store in Madison

Conshohocken, PA – IKEA U.S. announced plans to open a second Wisconsin store in Madison. The new location, scheduled to open in fall 2026, will be at Prairie Towne Center, 215 Junction Rd., Madison, WI 53717.
The 54,000-square-foot IKEA Madison store will offer more than 5,000 products on display and a curated selection of approximately 3,000 products available for immediate takeaway. Available items will include textiles, lighting, home accessories, and over 130 smaller furniture items. Larger products, such as sofas and beds, and the full IKEA range can be ordered for home delivery or free pickup at Madison-area locations.
The Madison store will feature a central planning area, where customers can consult with IKEA experts for customized solutions for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, wardrobes, storage, and small spaces.
The store will also include a Swedish Deli with hot and cold IKEA food items, such as meatballs, plant balls, falafel balls, hot dogs, veggie dogs, and cinnamon buns, available for dine-in or takeaway.
In line with IKEA’s sustainability initiatives, a small As-Is section will offer gently used and discontinued products, providing customers with more affordable furnishing options.
Until the new store opens, customers in Madison can pick up online orders at two IKEA Pick-up locations: the University Book Store on State Street and the University Book Store Distribution Center on the Beltline Highway.
