Palo Alto, Calif. – Houzz Pro partnered with four interior design firms to create home designs that reflect the atmosphere of popular vacation destinations using the Houzz Pro 3D Floor Planner tool. The initiative allows homeowners to visualize new spaces inspired by global getaways through immersive 3D technology.
The Houzz Pro 3D Floor Planner, part of the company’s project management and design software, enables professionals to model detailed room layouts. Designers can also use selections and takeoff tools within the platform to finalize materials and generate project estimates, supporting a smoother transition from concept to construction.
Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Florida Living | Anna Gray Designs
Anna Gray Designs recreated the feel of Florida’s Marco Island with an open-concept living room and backyard, connecting interior and exterior spaces. The 3D Floor Planner helped align the layout to highlight water views and blend a kitchen, living area, and poolside spaces. Designer Kristin Parr stated that the software’s AI product rendering supported cohesive design by allowing real-world products and materials to be integrated into the 3D model.
A Taste of Italy | Caroline Couzens Design
Caroline Couzens Design developed a kitchen and dining room inspired by Venetian elegance and modern culinary needs. The design features arched windows, a chandelier, rustic dining elements, and a contemporary butler’s pantry. Caroline Couzens emphasized the 3D Floor Planner’s value in exploring spatial relationships and visual impact.
Coastal Nantucket Sophistication | Flourish Interiors
Flourish Interiors by Vanessa C. Smith created a Nantucket-inspired bedroom suite, utilizing soft blues, whites, and layered textures to evoke coastal style. Collaborator Megan Vogeler-Lappan noted the importance of 3D visualization in refining layout decisions and enabling clients to view floor plans, product details, and submit approvals in one platform.
Tropical Bali Tranquility | Bleu Canard Design
Bleu Canard Design drew from Balinese villa architecture to design a relaxing, spa-like home sanctuary. Lush indoor greenery, dark wood, and panoramic wallpaper were incorporated using features such as AI-powered 3D rendering and the Clipper tool. Designer Camille Mongeon highlighted the ability to transform real-world materials and objects into detailed virtual elements.
