The actress arrived at the 2024 Oscars in a strapless, crystal-embellished gown featuring a sculptural peplum that added dramatic structure to the sleek column silhouette. She balanced the sparkle with a sleek, sculpted topknot, glowing bronzed skin and softly defined eyes.

Celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims was behind the updo and used Union’s own Flawless hair-care products along with Kristin Ess tools. Chanel makeup artist Asha Reiko Brown handled makeup, using the luxury French label’s products exclusively.

“The beautiful shine of Gabrielle’s gown inspired me to create skin that matched the sheen,” Brown told Vogue of her inspiration. “The structure demanded that we keep the face softer, so I opted for clean skin with soft sculpting and added a peachy flush on cheeks and lips,” Reiko Brown says. “I chose grey and taupe shades to softly smudge out the eyes and popped the lids with a lovely coral shade to add warmth. To complete the look, I added a dramatic lash for red carpet drama.”
