Make Room for Spring: The HomeBody Method for Creating a Peaceful Home
Every spring brings a familiar, hopeful feeling. The days grow a little brighter, the air feels lighter, and we start dreaming about a fresh start at home.
Maybe you feel the urge to declutter a little, refresh a room, or add a few simple touches that make your home feel ready for spring.
But if you’re anything like me, it can also feel a little overwhelming to know where to begin.
Perhaps the clutter or pileups from winter are still sitting there on the floor.
Your home to-do list might be growing faster than you can check things off.
You may even have decorating projects you started last year that are now at a standstill.
If that sounds familiar, here’s what finally changed it for me.

Over the years, I’ve discovered something important about creating a home I truly love.
It does take time. And it isn’t always easy.
But juggling all the things doesn’t have to feel as exhausting as I once made it. Something was missing, I just didn’t know what.

What I eventually realized was missing wasn’t a better routine, more time, or another project list—it was a method to the madness. I needed a simple way to bring together the mindsets, habits, and rhythms that would help me create a sanctuary at home in a way that felt attainable, sustainable, and truly restorative.
Caring for my home needed to feel more like therapy for me… and less like another chore I didn’t have time for.
When I began practicing what I came to think of as Home Therapy, something shifted. Not only in my home, but in me. The small, ordinary rhythms of caring for my space started to feel calming instead of overwhelming. My home began to impact the life I wanted to live in it.
And that’s what led me to create what I now call The HomeBody Method.
It’s the gentle approach that helped me bring more peace, beauty, and intention into my everyday home life—and it’s what I’d love to share with you.
The HomeBody Method brings together three simple rhythms that help HomeBodies care for their homes in a way that feels peaceful and sustainable.
These rhythms work together to help your home feel calmer, more welcoming, and more intentional throughout the year.
In The HomeBody House, you’ll learn how to practice this refreshing, restorative method in your own home—little by little, season by season—so creating a sanctuary becomes more enjoyable, more meaningful, and more like a way of life.

The HomeBody Method:
The HomeBody Method is a simple approach to creating a sanctuary at home through three rhythms we practice throughout the year in The HomeBody House.
These rhythms give us a foundation to build on and a structure we can return to whenever life or the seasons shift. They help keep our home and life in balance so our home can feel like a sanctuary in every season.
Not a perfect home—because life happens—but a more peaceful way to care for it.

This rhythm is about caring for our homes in small pockets of time.
Instead of needing big blocks of time or energy, we practice simple and fun homekeeping rhythms (like puttering!) that help us maintain peace and order little by little. I share my rhythms so you can hop right in and get started immediately!
I just gave The HomeBody House and our rhythms a spring refresh so it’s all very simple for you to follow and enjoy.

We all want a home that feels welcoming and beautiful.
The Room Recipe gives you a clear decorating foundation so your decisions become easier and your home evolves with more confidence and less overwhelm.
You spend less and have fewer regrets when you’re clear on your direction. Your recipe will reduce decision fatigue and stop second-guessing every choice so you can create momentum, not stay stuck.
You can watch my video introduction to Room Recipe here!
Our resources are a mix of short videos, Home Therapy pep talks, written instructions, visual graphics, pretty guides and printables so it always feels fresh and fun.

Each season gives us a chance to pause, reset, and breathe new life into our homes.
We continue building on our foundational home rhythms and decorating recipe each season — so we don’t have to start over. With your rhythms to follow, you will know what to do and how to decide what’s next! This helps us create a true sanctuary where we feel our best, too.
We practice and learn together inside The HomeBody House!

This season in The HomeBody House, we’re beginning our spring session with a simple theme:
Make Room for Spring.
Before we decorate or restyle our homes for the season, we always begin with intention. I walk you through how!
I also love to start with a clean slate, so we’ll do a Putter Declutter—this is our gentle reset that helps both you and your room feel calm and cared for again. (It’s like puttering, but with a plan!)
I even give you four simple Putter Declutters to choose from to make it super simple to get started — and we can all do our Putter Declutters Together!
From there, we welcome the season with fresh inspiration for decorating, simple joys, and small steps that make a meaningful difference in how our homes feel.

• Creating breathing room in our homes with Putter Declutters
• Practicing the 10 Minute Sanctuary rhythms for daily peace at home
• Refreshing our Room Recipes so decorating feels easier and more fun
• Welcoming spring with simple seasonal touches and fresh inspiration
A sanctuary home isn’t created all at once.
It grows through small rhythms, thoughtful choices, and seasons of care.
If you’d love a little guidance, encouragement, and a peaceful rhythm to follow this season, I’d be so happy to welcome you to our community of Happy HomeBodies!
Come join us in The HomeBody House.
