He has held senior executive roles at companies including 20-20 Technologies (Icovia), VividWorks, MicroD, TurboSquid, DreamView, and Renovai, as well as operating his own visualization consulting firm.

“We didn’t want a traditional salesperson—we wanted a strategist who understands how this industry actually works,” Jones added. “JT has repeatedly introduced AI-driven and visualization technologies into legacy markets and knows how to turn innovation into commercial outcomes.”

In his role, Thompson will focus on deploying Imersian’s AI-powered visualization platform to help retailers and manufacturers address core industry challenges such as inventory stagnation, high return rates, and rising content production costs.
