Godox KNOWLED MG4KR – Newsshooter
Godox has officially unveiled the new KNOWLED MG4KR, their latest full-color COB light.
Godox claims that the KNOWLED MG4KR can produce 225,100lx @3m / 9.9′ when used at 5600K with its 20° reflector.
When producing a saturated red, it is claimed to be able to output 24,600lx @3m / 9.9′. The beam angle when not using the reflector is 110°.

The fixture covers 91% of Rec.2020, and it has a CCT range of 1,800K–10,000K CCT, with ±100% GM shift. Other benefits are accurate color reproduction and 0-100% dimming with four curves (linear, S, exponential, and logarithmic).
The KNOWLED MG4KR is a full color RGB version of the previous bi-color MG4K, and it draws 3250W. It has refined features, advanced control options, and G-mount compatibility.
The light features a separate power supply/controller with an improved cooling system in an IP65-rated housing.
This is not a lightweight fixture as you would expect. The light head weighs 50.7 lb / 23 kg, and the power supply/controller weighs 15.2 lb / 6.9 kg.
You can control the fixture through a variety of methods, including onboard adjustment, DMX, and app control. Users also control the fixture wirelessly via LumenRadio CRMX or opt for Ethernet support. The light also offers NFC pairing with Bluetooth connectivity. The wireless range is up to 196.8′ away.
The light is configured to accept G-mount light modifiers and accessories, such as the included reflector. Users can add optional G-mount light modifiers to achieve complete control of the light output.
The G-mount ecosystem ensures full compatibility across the MG series models, such as the MG6K, MG4K, MG1200R, and MG1200Bi fixtures.
