Angénieux 0.75x Wide Angle Adapter


Angénieux has officially announced its 0.75x Wide Angle Adapter which is being touted as a versatile and complementary tool for the Optimo Prime Series; however, it is also compatible with the Optimo Ultra Compact zooms and the Type EZ Series (EZ-1 and EZ-2 only).

The Angénieux 0.75x Wide Angle Adapter is designed to increase the lenses’ field of view without sacrificing speed or image quality.

The wide-angle adapter turns an 18mm Optimo Prime into a 13.5mm and the 21mm into a 15.7mm. It’s important to note that wide-angle lens attachments will inevitably result in the focus markings becoming inaccurate.
