I have a friend who is the best cook I personally know. It’s always a delight to get an invitation to eat at her home.

At first, I assumed everything she makes is from scratch. And, yes, she does that. A lot.

But she also doctors up premade things.

If it’s something savory she might add a little extra salt.

If it’s a rich sauce, she likes to add tarragon or basil.

“Basil goes a long way in soups,” she says. “And Tarragon is a nice enhancer.”

If it’s something on the sweeter side, a little extra sugar or cinnamon is helpful.

When reviewing your website pages, think of yourself as doctoring it up.

You don’t always need a complete site rebuild.

Doctoring up an old one can make it look new.

Use fresh images or different colors. Freshen your headlines. Take long pages and break them up into shorter ones. Update them if needed.
