“At a time marked by geopolitical complexity and global market uncertainty, this growth in international attendance sends a clear signal: CIFF Guangzhou is increasingly recognized as the global hub of the furniture industry and a must-attend event for its key players worldwide.”

An Evolving Platform

Guided by the theme CONNECT · CREATE, CIFF Guangzhou is working to evolve beyond the traditional trade fair model, positioning itself as a platform where design, manufacturing and global trade converge, creating a comprehensive ecosystem of resources that enables business development, industry exchange and innovation across the entire furniture value chain. The show attracted 1,582 new exhibitors (31.8% of the total), underscoring its ability to attract new market players alongside established international brands.

New Lifestyles, New Market Directions

The 2026 edition placed strong emphasis on emerging lifestyles and evolving consumer needs. Within the Home Furniture exhibition, new thematic zones — Healthy Aging, Pet Home, Massage Chairs/Function Sofas, and New Retail — highlighted key market directions.

The show’s Healthy Elderly Living Themed Exhibition, featuring nearly 60 companies, presented integrated solutions combining senior-friendly furniture, smart care technologies and service systems to address the rapid growth of the silver economy. Meanwhile, the Living with Pet – Pet Home & Supplies Themed Exhibition, with around 40 companies, showcased the expanding pet-related sector, covering the entire supply chain from furniture and smart devices to accessories and services.

Concurrently, CIFM/interzum Guangzhou launched the ” Global Debut Gala”, collaborating with 10 leading equipment manufacturers, presenting 24 strategic new products for the first time on-site.

A Fully Integrated Industry Ecosystem

Through its three major exhibitions — Home Furniture (3,870,000 square feet), Office & Commercial Space (2,160,000 square feet) and CIFM/interzum guangzhou (1,530,000 square feet) — CIFF Guangzhou presented an integrated furniture supply chain platform. From design and lifestyle to manufacturing and materials, the exhibition connected upstream and downstream sectors within a single, coherent system.

Design Drives Value

Design continued to play a central role in driving industry upgrading and value creation at CIFF Guangzhou 2026. A total of 227 design brands (+9% YoY) were featured, with 11 design hall clusters covering 864,000 square feet, highlighting the growing influence of design across the entire industry chain.

The CD Awards (CIFF Guangzhou Design Awards) received 675 entries (+7.7%), reflecting the increasing vitality of design innovation. Themed design exhibitions fostered cross-disciplinary exploration, opening new perspectives on the future of home living.

Strengthening Global Connections

CIFF Guangzhou 2026 reinforced its role as a global connector, bringing together manufacturers, designers, buyers and industry professionals from around the world. International promotion activities, domestic roadshows and a digital communication network reached over 130 million views, expanding the exhibition’s global reach.

Dedicated platforms such as Interbiz Club, Design Community and Elite Community supported high-quality networking and business matchmaking. Digital innovations, including AI-powered assistants, intelligent navigation systems and real-time interaction tools, enhanced both visitor experience and operational efficiency.

“The success of CIFF Guangzhou 2026,” concluded show management, “reflects a broader transformation of the furniture industry towards a more design-driven, technology-enabled and globally connected ecosystem.
