Cologne – imm india 2026 will take place from 11–14 March 2026 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi, positioning itself as a B2B exhibition for furniture, interiors, décor, surfaces, textiles, kitchens and smart living solutions.

The event will present exhibitors and products across the furniture and interiors value chain. Buyers will be able to source solid wood and upholstered furniture, handcrafted and contemporary collections, rugs and carpets, home décor and accessories, mattresses and comfort solutions, modular and modern kitchens, surfaces and materials, metal and wood components, artisanal crafts and export-ready interior solutions.

Organised by Koelnmesse, imm india applies an established B2B exhibition format to the Indian market. According to the organisers, India’s furniture market is projected to exceed USD 32 billion by 2027, with exports continuing to register double-digit growth. The platform is designed to support sourcing, buyer–seller engagement and market access for domestic and international participants.

Mr. Milind Dixit, Managing Director, Koelnmesse Pvt. Ltd., said: “imm india 2026 is not just another exhibition — it is a bold statement of India’s readiness to lead the global furniture and interiors conversation. The scale of participation, quality of exhibitors, and depth of international buyer interest clearly reflect the industry’s confidence in this platform. Our vision is to create a marketplace where Indian manufacturers connect seamlessly with global demand, where design meets business, and where long-term partnerships are built.”

The organisers cite developments in international trade as supporting sector growth, including the EU–India Free Trade Agreement. The agreement removes EU import duties on certain Indian wooden, bamboo, metal and handcrafted furniture products, previously as high as 10.5%. Average tariffs are reported to have declined from 3.8% to near-zero, alongside simplified self-certification procedures intended to reduce customs timelines. These measures are expected to support sourcing from India by EU and US buyers.

International buyer interest has been confirmed from Spain, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Belgium, United States, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Singapore, Hong Kong and Romania, according to the organisers.

The exhibition layout will include The Sourcing Hub, international trend zones, curated material and product showcases, and a Hosted Buyer Programme intended to facilitate scheduled meetings between exhibitors and buyers.

imm india has also partnered with the Buyers Agents Association (BAA) to support international buyer outreach and business matchmaking. Ruma Malik, Chairperson, Something Else and BAA, said: “We are visiting the launch edition of imm india to explore new sourcing opportunities, connect with reliable Indian manufacturers, and discover innovative furniture and interior products. imm india provides a strong platform to build long-term partnerships and identify suppliers who can support our growing business needs.”

The event is supported by industry associations including the Jodhpur Handicrafts Exporters Association. Mr. Bharat Dinesh, President from Jodhpur Handicrafts Exporters Association, said: “imm india marks a defining step for India’s furniture and interiors industry. It gives our members and the wider ecosystem a focused global platform to showcase Indian design, connect with serious international buyers, and build partnerships that strengthen India’s position in global trade.”

More than 150 exhibitors are confirmed to participate, presenting furniture, rugs, surfaces, kitchens, mattresses and handcrafted collections. The event will also host conferences and seminars developed in collaboration with architects, interior designers and industry associations, as well as Exhibitor Awards recognising design, innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship.

The exhibition is open to bulk buyers, sourcing heads, architects, interior designers, retailers, distributors, developers, hospitality professionals, project consultants, procurement teams, exporters, buying houses and international trade delegations.
