Gardner White Expands with Nine New Stores, Including First Outlet Location

DETROIT, Mich. – Gardner White announced plans to open nine new store locations, expanding its retail footprint across Michigan and into Ohio. The openings will increase the company’s total store count to 30 and include its first outlet location, reflecting continued investment in the Midwest region.

The expansion includes new stores in Grand Rapids, Lansing, Traverse City, Chesterfield, Clinton Township, Portage, Flint, Novi, and Holland, Ohio. Store openings will begin this spring, with individual grand opening announcements to follow.

• 27775 Novi Road, Novi, MI 48377 (102,600 sq. ft.)

• 1301 E. Mall Drive, Holland, OH 43528 (91,381 sq. ft.)

• 4375 28th Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512 (79,742 sq. ft.)

• 50400 Gratiot Ave, Chesterfield, MI 48051 (73,151 sq. ft.)

• 33801 S. Gratiot Ave, Clinton Township, MI 48035 (69,260 sq. ft.)

• 1775 Oak Hollow Dr, Traverse City, MI 49686 (63,400 sq. ft.)

• 4577 Miller Road, Flint, MI 48507 (56,578 sq. ft.)

• 550 Ring Road, Portage, MI 49024 (50,686 sq. ft.)

As part of the expansion, the company’s existing Novi store at 43825 W. Oaks Drive will be converted into Gardner White’s first outlet location. The outlet will feature regularly refreshed inventory, including floor samples and discontinued products from national brands.

In January 2026, Gardner White opened a standalone mattress store in Woodhaven. The company also expanded in 2025 with seven new locations statewide, including the debut of its GW HOME concept in Detroit.

Gardner White remains focused on growing its regional presence while maintaining delivery and service options designed for modern consumers.
